Taste the Forbidden!

My new book Beyond Eden is not an ordinary romance. For one, it’s a M/M/F ménage, which is becoming more common, but it still far from typical. It’s also a BDSM romance with dark, edgy themes and complex characters. So, no, it’s not ordinary by any stretch of the imagination—but, have no question, it is a romance.

I thrive off finding passion and true love in places one wouldn’t usually expect, and I’m extremely proud of achieving that with Beyond Eden. Despite the edgier aspects of the story, the one thing that has resonated with reviewers is that at its core, Beyond Eden is an extremely passionate love story, which is what I think all erotic romance should be.

Erotica has been around for centuries; it’s an art form that is often censured, yet coveted behind closed doors and I’m excited to see it finally finding a footing in the romance market. It makes it possible for writers like me, who write romance outside the box, to spread our wings. Trust me, flowery prose does not a love story make. True, undeniable love comes in all sorts of different packages, and the erotic romance market has a plethora of those.

Despite sex being a lot of what helps the story blossom, the love stories in erotic romance can be just as potent, if not more so than traditional romance. There are no closed doors, the words are less flowery, but more real to life and I think that makes identifying with erotic romance easier than people realize. When you can relate to the characters, their passion and love become very real to you and it makes for an extremely potent reading experience.

Take a dip into erotic waters. Try a romance that’s a bit edgier than you’re used to, but be warned, the forbidden can be addictive!

Three lifelong friends find themselves tangled in a web of love, pain and dangerous secrets in this erotic Garden of Eden tale.

Tall, dark and handsome Danny Carlow has always gotten whatever he wants except for the two he wants more than anything—his best friends, lovers Paul and Eve. Determined, he waits like a snake in the grass, poised for the right moment to offer them a temptation too delicious to resist.

Artist Eve Everton makes the painful decision to leave behind her true love Paul for the Siren’s call of New York City. Ten years later with her life in shambles, she returns home. When Paul’s waiting arms aren’t available, Eve falls for Danny’s charm and finds herself a willing accomplice in the dangerous games Danny plays.

Former college football star, Paul Mattling is now a successful attorney with a bright future ahead of him. But behind those brilliant blue eyes are secret desires for a taste of the forbidden. Will he play it safe or will he give into Danny and Eve and bite the apple?a

It's that edginess that I love in erotic romances. When the story takes me so far from where I would normally go, and has me loving every passionate moment of it.
