One of my all-time favorite TV couples was Maddie and David on Moonlighting. (wasn't Bruce Willis cute? and they had some really hot music on that show...) David always had the perfect quip to smooth the way, no matter what was going down.
What about you? Do you like some funny with your hot, or are you all business-like when the characters are getting down to business?
Everyone who emails me this weekend at piperdenna@gmail.com will be entered to win one of my books--your choice which, and I'll be drawing 3 names.

Humor is definitely a plus! Laughter is real life, so when I find it in a book, it makes the book all the more memorable.

My hubby and I are such pranksters...there is never a dull moment in our house. While I was having my first son, we were watching a comedy in between contractions...including the doctor!

I love humor in my writing and books. I can't count all the times my hubby hears me laughing when I read Gena Showlater or JR Ward
Somehow the humor makes the characters more "relateable", I think. I really love Vicki Lewis Thompson's Nerds stories--those guys are lovable because they can laugh at themselves.
I love humor in a book too. It always puts me in a good mood.
