What's Next - Juniper Bell + Giveaway

My most recent book, Restraining the Receptionist, has only been out six weeks, but I already feel like a slacker for not having my next book ready. Actually, my next book is in edits but I don't have the release date yet. I'll tell you more about it in a bit, but first ...

I need your help.

For my next book, I can head in various directions. I'd love some feedback so I can pick one. If you help me out in the comments, I'll put you in a random drawing for a download of any one of my books.

Okay, here goes. Should I work on:

The 3rd Receptionist book

A new Regency (I've written one, My Three Lords)

A superhot college menage story

A bear shapeshifter story

The 3rd Wild, Alaska story (Go Wild was the first.)

Speaking of which, my next release will be Go Deep from Ellora's Cave. Here is the cover, and an unedited blurb.

Beth Thomason is known in her hometown of North Pole, Alaska as the shy, dreamy type. No one guesses at the wild sexual thoughts behind that quiet fa├žade. She doesn’t even share her secret longings with her husband.

Gavin loves his wife, but he’s tired of living in a shadow marriage in which neither reveals their true desires. When an erotic bondage photo is dropped off at Beth’s framing shop, Gavin jumps at the opportunity to break through her barriers.

An amateur hockey coach, he accepts an invitation to a showcase match during Wild Nights, the infamous winter festival during which “anything goes, nothing counts.” But he’s opened a sensual Pandora’s box -- Beth has some surprises of her own. When she meets Eagle, a free-spirited Wild resident, she knows he’s the perfect man to help enact her erotic fantasies.

Once they go deep, there’s no going back.

Contains explicit sexual situations including three-way sex and light bondage, not to mention some outrageously provocative outfits.

Thanks for your help!

I vote for a third receptionist book. I have the first two. They have such a complicated relationship. Would love to see how things change and develop.

Aw, you guys are all great!!! So far I think the Receptionist has the edge ... but the new Regency is right in there too! Not to mention the bear shifter. I don't suppose I could write a Regency bear shifter story?

My first choice would be a bear shapeshifter story but then again, I'm wiggling in my seat at the mention of a superhot college menage story ;) Hope that helps a little.

Love the blurb for your new EC release Juniper. And my pick would be the bear shapeshifer story, I have a weakness for these paranormal beasties...

I hope you will work on the third Alaska story. I've always wanted to visit there and it might keep you cool writing about Alaska in the sunner. I also like the sound of a bear shapeshifter story because shapeshifters are new to me and I happen to like bears. They are both different from the Receptionist book and a break from the series might help allow for more ideas to simmer. If you work on a story from a different genre it may help reach readers who do read books in the genre. I think whichever story you like most and feel is ready to be written is the one you should work on. It'll make writing it fun.

Wow, so many great comments! Thank you all so much for weighing in.

I'm going to leave the contest open until ... well, until I wake up tomorrow. I'll pick a winner at 10am or so Alaska time, 2PM EST. So if you've happened on this post, it's not too late!!!

Heather - I'm glad the college menage catches your eye! I thought it would be a frontrunner, LOL.

Cathy - Thank you for enjoying the blurb! I have no idea if it'll end up this way. My editor may totally change it.

JoAnne - I love bear shapeshifters, maybe because I live in Alaska and we see them all the time. Well, actual bears -- have no idea if they're shapeshifters. ;)

Gabrielle - Yay, so glad you liked the Receptionist stories!!

Dawn and Mara - I think you've put Receptionist in the lead!

Na - What thoughtful, insightful advice! I really appreciate how you approached it.
